You may remember me?
Great job Mark,
I am Orville DeVlugt, one of the fabulous Dutchy
Brothers Band from San Fernando back in the 60's.
You may be too young to remember but if you are
keeping up with current events you will see that we
are still receiving awards and credits today even
though the band doesn't exist. I am in Los Angeles,
CA with my own band Dutchy's Caribbean Tropicanas. But
Peter as he is known, Pete DeVlugt my eldest brother
still in Trinidad representing the rest of brothers
who are abroad. Keep up the good work, I love your
music, Hooked is great.

I like your compositions, the melodic
lines, lyrics and specially your arrangements.
Last year I got the wonderful CD 'Pan in Education' with your steel pan music,
from the chairman of 'Steelpan
European' Matthias Kauer (Swiss). For me,
this work
is the very best and the most important
release of the modern pan music in Trinidad/Tobago. I'm musician (Steelpan, Vibraphone) and arranger/leader of
the German 'Steel Orchestra Pan Groove' and the Steel
Ochestra 'Port of Pan'.
